Finding inspiration
Hola You. My friend Diego Briceño-Orduz, a Canadian-Columbian filmmaker, sent me these links to the Magnum In Motion photo essays. Diego is an extraordinarily brave and talented filmmaker. His last film, Souvenir Kids, was about child prostitution and the tourism sex trade in Acapulco. Diego could write a book on documentary filmmaking ethics, he’s experienced some very dark, challenging situations. Here are the links Diego sent me, well worth exploring. As I sweat, looking for the topic of my next film, these provide so much inspiration.

hey kat i miss u tonnes, can't wait to catch up on all the blogs that i missed since i went to PR. i wish i was there in NZ living every bit of it with you:)
