Photos for Cui-Cui

I spoke to cui-Cui, my sister who lives in Barbados today. She said she missed seeing me, so I promised to put some pictures up. Here they are, my filmmaking partner, Alastair, took the great ones of Flea and I.

These are the best pictures yet! It is good to see you looking so happy and obviously enjoying yourself. Flea looks great too. Our daughter Amanda is here for a week with her dog, Miller, and Britty is petrified of him (her bete noir). She has not stopped shaking since he arrived. I bet she would give anything to swap him for Flea! Can't wait to see your film - wish we could just "pop in" like we did at Salt, to see you graduate. Next week we are going on our first ever cruise (in 37 years of marriage), so that is our big trip for this year. St. Thomas, Bonaire, St. Kitts, Grenada and Aruba. Oh - the princess cruise line day trip book talks about day trips in Barbados, and one is to a nature reserve for monkeys. That is not your parents home is it? It looked beautiful in the pictures. Take care, keep filming, and most of all, be happy. Dorothy

Hi Dorothy!
Poor Britty! I hope she gets over Miller...maybe they just need to have some long walks like Britty and Flea did. Flea misses Britty for sure, she ran up to a dog who looked like Britty then snobbed her when she realised it wasn't her! I am very excited about your trip, those islands are fascinating and beautiful, especially St.Kitts, which I know the best since I lived there, and Grenada where I've been several times. You will really enjoy it, and what a way to celebrate 37 years! You are right, that place you saw is the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, where I grew up. It must be it's the only monkey place in the island. Happy trip and hope to see you in the fall!
Love from Kat x
